In addition, the company generates electricity from combined cycle, thermal, nuclear, hydro-electric, cogeneration plants, and wind farms.
Further, it supplies and sells natural gas to wholesale and retail customers; supplies products and services related to retail commercialization; and exploits a coal field in South Africa, as well as engages in optic fiber and the other non-energy businesses.
The company has approximately 10,863 megawatts of installed power.
It operates primarily in Spain, Latin America, Puerto Rico, Italy, France, Moldova, the United States, and Africa. Gas Natural SDG, S.A. was founded in 1843 and is headquartered in Barcelona, Spain.
